Given the latest technological advancements, particularly in AI, it is evident that we must question the future of technology. It is currently undergoing a transformation, and AI-related projects are booming in cutting-edge sectors. Naturally, one might wonder what level the major companies in the sector have currently reached, as it is clear that technology so advanced that the public can use it through open source is far more advanced in the private sector. Major innovations only become public once they are perfectly mastered by their original creators. This technological leap is already impacting the economy, and the stock prices of major companies have grown exponentially to reach heights that would have been unimaginable just a few years ago. This is notably the case for NVIDIA, which has experienced spectacular growth, as well as SMC (Super Micro Computer) and AMD (Advanced Micro Devices). A common point between these three companies is that they are all specialized in the tech field, primarily in the manufacture of semiconductors, microprocessors, and graphics cards. These same components are now essential for the continued advancement of AI-related technology, and it is therefore natural that sales are reaching record levels, with the main buyers being tech giants like Microsoft, Google, Apple, and Amazon.

But then, how can we anticipate the future and foresee the next explosions ?

These innovations enable greater efficiency, attracting significant investments to develop advanced medical technologies and intelligent healthcare services. Research costs would be reduced, and results would be achieved more quickly. Data security related to treatments and patients also comes into play, impacting regulations such as the Cloud Act and GDPR. These, already crucial in contract signing, would become even more significant. Therefore, it's worth monitoring the creation of companies specializing in this field that could support numerous businesses as third-party experts.

Some examples of major advancements that could be highly profitable include CRISPR-Cas9, a gene-editing technology that could potentially treat cancers and currently incurable genetic diseases.

This could lead to a major process modification similar to what was seen in the 1940s with the emergence of Lean management at Toyota in Japan. These innovations would increase efficiency and responsiveness, thereby attracting significant investments to develop intelligent and resilient supply chain solutions.

These new processes would quickly be adapted to other sectors and implemented in companies to improve personnel management and work schedules.

The cybersecurity and finance sectors come into play here, as transaction security is a major concern that large entities in the financial sector will need to address given the geopolitical landscape since Russia invade Ukraine, China navigate in Taiwan seas and Trump is close to access presidence again. However, these innovations would attract significant investments to develop blockchain applications in various domains beyond just finance. Implementation of blockchain technology in sectors such as healthcare or logistics could make operations more reliable and faster, preventing fraud. It could, for exemple, have a huge impact in the development of the fight against organ trafficking in the world.

The environmental sector could benefit from current advancements in AI and technology through the surveillance and optimized management of natural resources, the reduction of carbon emissions, and the development of renewable energy solutions. These innovations would attract significant investments to create sustainable solutions and improve ecological resilience. One of the main issues facing agricultural infrastructure today is the increased dependence on fuels. This prompts questions about the agriculture methods of tomorrow. Will tractors be electric ? How will recharging be done ? Where will batteries be stored ? What will be the long-term cost ? Decarbonizing sectors related to the environment may seem absurd because they are often wrongly perceived as less polluting, however, significant CO2 emissions are still used to modify the environment to suit our lifestyles. Plantations can also be highly dependent on water, which will become a more significant problem in the years to come. Therefore, adaptation and finding new solutions linked to responsible living are crucial. Which crops use the least water ? Which agricultural equipment is the most efficient ? Why and how can it be further optimized ? What activities are unnecessary and could be modified ?

Emerging sectors will be those whose utility has been demonstrated in advance because truly reversing course becomes challenging when we must let nature reclaim its space. It takes time, so optimization calculations will be critical.

Apart from the direct environmental aspect, attention can also be directed towards companies attempting to reduce their carbon footprint through the implementation of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) standards, Green IT, ISO 14064. All types of sectors are affected, including industry, textiles, extraction, and technology.

It's also a good way to reanalyze existing geological resources and discover new buried energy sources that may not have been previously detected. For example, Russia recently discovered a deposit of over 511 billion barrels of oil under the Antarctic. Taking into account the fact that a specialized AI, train to find petrol, isn't yet available, we can easily say that those type of "new" discovery is not going to end. These innovations would attract significant investments to create more sustainable and resilient energy systems, as well as advanced research systems.
